BOOSTER CLUB
The Band Booster Club is a new organization that will help support the band at all activities. It helps to raise money by aquiring donations, concession stands, bake sells, and any otherfundraiser that can be thought of.
​
The members have the opportunity to attend all trips with the band as chaperones to assist with discipline issues and keep the students safe. Members that help out are also the first considered to attend an end of the year trip as a chaperone based upon their involvement during the year.
​
The organization will have its own meetings and Board of Officers. Money raised throught the organization will be used to assist the band with items the school cannot purchase, students that cannot afford band trips, and big band trips every other year. The next big trip will be in 2017-18.
DIRECTOR
Charlie C. Goodson is the Band Director at Agua Dulce I.S.D. He is in his 16th year of teaching with band directing experience in both Oklahoma and Texas. Originally from Oklahoma, he has spent the last 3 years back in Texas. His primary instrument is the tuba and he enjoys performing with the Corpus Christi Wind Symphony and the Corpus Christi Municipal Band.

He attended Southestern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK and attained a Bachelor of Music Education (2000), Texas State University in San Marcos, TX for a Master of Music-Music Education (2004), East Central University in Ada, OK for a Master of Education in Secondary Principal, and Arkansas State University for an Educational Specialist in Superintendancy (2014).

He is married to Donnell Goodson and they have one son Allen.
